Frequently asked questions 

For initial review, applicants are asked to submit:

• Application fee: QAR 230
• School reports: the latest school report if apply for Year 2 and above (in English)
• Qatar residence permits: Child’s and both parents’ permits (if available)
• Additional needs documentation: If applicable
• Medical declaration: if applicable
• Language information form: Completed and submitted (available from admissions)

Once an offer is made, parents must provide:

• Birth certificate (front and back)
• Passport-sized photograph
• Student’s and parents’ passport (front page and information page, valid)
• Qatar ID card for the child and sponsor
• Employment letter from the sponsor’s workplace
• Vaccination card 
• Fit to School Certificate ( for Nursery and Reception)
• Registration fee: QAR 3,453
• Advance deposit: QAR 2,000 for next academic year starters (deducted from Term 1 fees)
• Midterm starters: New students joining the school midterm will be charged tuition fees on a pro-rata basis, calculated from their official date of admission.

International students (Year 2+): All current school reports, including the most recent end-of-year report, must be provided with the official school stamp.

Students transferring from a school within Qatar: Confirmation of acceptance from the current school and the school’s NSIS Code 30185 must be submitted.

The Ministry of Education authorises students to join the year group appropriate to the time of year the transfer takes place. If a place is offered and the MoE does not approve the transfer to that year group, the place will be withdrawn and any fees paid will be refunded.

Yes. In accordance with Ministry of Education regulations, the deadlines for accepting students transferring from schools within Qatar are as follows:

• Students transferring from a different curriculum: Until the end of January.
• British curriculum students in Year 10 and above: Until the end of February.
• British curriculum students up to and including Year 9: Until the end of April.
