Guided by our PRIDE values – perseverance, responsibility, independence, dedication and engagement – they learn to collaborate with peers, solve problems creatively and take responsibility for their learning while exploring topics that matter, from study skills and financial awareness to careers and further education.
Secondary students strengthen their English proficiency through a dynamic, immersive curriculum. Home language support is always available, enabling students to maintain and develop their mother tongue alongside English.
Multilingual learning is a cornerstone of the secondary experience. From Key Stage 3, students broaden their linguistic skills by studying French, Spanish or Arabic as part of the Modern Foreign Languages programme. This journey continues into Key Stage 4, where students deepen their knowledge and work towards a IGCSE qualification in their chosen language.
For Qatari pupils and Arab passport holders, Arabic is compulsory, in line with Ministry requirements, fostering a strong connection to cultural heritage and identity. Non-Qatari and non-Arab students studying French or Spanish also participate in Global Citizenship lessons, expanding their understanding of the world alongside language learning.
Through the International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS) programme, students build a global network, collaborating with ISP peers on projects that foster cultural understanding and real-world leadership.
This international engagement continues through premier events. Students develop resilience and team spirit by competing in BSME sports tournaments, and they grow as artists by performing and connecting with musicians worldwide at COBIS festivals.
Academic learning is further enriched by real-world experiences, such as the Geography trip to Southeast Asia, which allows students to apply classroom knowledge, develop independence and gain a deeper understanding of global issues and diverse environments.
Students begin preparing for their future early, always supported to achieve their ambitions. Our dedicated careers advisor works closely with each student, offering personalised guidance and supporting both students and teachers throughout the university application process.
Every student has access to the Unifrog platform. Throughout the year we host university fairs, giving students the opportunity to connect directly with representatives from leading institutions worldwide. This ensures that students are well-informed, confident and ready to take their next steps, whether that leads to university or other pathways.
