Sadaf Hussain
Parent
At Park House English School, the Parent School Association (PSA) plays a key role in connecting parents, staff and students. Working closely with the school’s leadership team, the PSA helps ensure parent voices are heard and school life is enriched for every child.
Our PSA community
The PSA is a community of Park House parents and staff working together to strengthen the partnership between home and school in an open, inclusive environment.
PSA events and initiatives
The PSA organises community events and reinvests funds in projects that enhance learning, wellbeing, and school life for PHES students.
Ways to get involved
All Park House parents are PSA members and can choose how to participate, from helping at events to sharing ideas and supporting key projects.
The Parent School Association (PSA) brings together parents, carers and staff at Park House to support a strong partnership between home and school. Its role is to build a positive, collaborative relationship with the school, encourage open communication and help ensure that parent voices are heard.
The PSA reflects the international character of Park House, uniting families from many cultural and national backgrounds. This diversity is one of its greatest strengths - it allows the community to share different traditions and perspectives, promotes mutual respect and contributes to a welcoming school environment where every family can feel represented and included.
Throughout the year, the PSA helps organise and support a variety of events that bring the school community together. These include celebrations such as International Day, seasonal fairs and family events, charity fundraisers, themed non-uniform days and informal coffee mornings for parents. These occasions give families the chance to meet, connect and celebrate the diversity of the school.
Beyond events, the PSA also plays a key role in supporting students directly. Funds raised through PSA activities are reinvested into the school to improve learning environments, provide resources for clubs and enrichment programmes, and support wellbeing initiatives and special projects. In this way, the PSA contributes to a richer, more engaging experience for Park House students both inside and outside the classroom.
Parents and carers at Park House English School are warmly encouraged to join the Parent Staff Association (PSA). Membership is not automatic; those who wish to get involved can express their interest by emailing psa@parkhouseschool.com.
Involvement in the PSA is flexible and can be tailored to suit each family’s availability and interests. Some parents choose to support specific events, while others contribute to fundraising efforts, share ideas and feedback, or offer particular skills when needed.
Participating in the PSA provides a valuable opportunity to connect with other parents, gain a deeper understanding of school life, and contribute to initiatives that benefit students. Through collaboration between parents and staff, the school community fosters a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school greatly values and appreciates the time, energy, and commitment that parents bring to PSA activities.
