At Park House English School, music is a cornerstone of our performing arts provision. From the first notes in EYFS to advanced performance in Secondary, students explore a wide range of styles and instruments in a structured, supportive environment.
In the classroom, students develop listening, performance and composition skills, working both individually and in ensembles. They experience everything from instrumental work and ukulele to full-ensemble pieces, with many performances showcased in key events such as our Winter Concert.
Choir and vocal music are key strengths at Park House, with children regularly recognised at national and international events.
Our choirs perform a varied repertoire, from uplifting festive pieces such as The Polar Express, Let It Snow, Winter Wonderland and A Pocket Full of Miracles in our Winter Concert, to more demanding works for competitions and festivals. Through regular rehearsals and public performances, students build vocal technique, ensemble skills and stage confidence.
At our British school in Doha, dance plays a central role in our performing arts programme, giving students a powerful way to express themselves physically and creatively.
Across the school, dance is integrated into major events – from the energetic and expressive performances by Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 students in the Winter Concert, to full-day festivals dedicated entirely to movement and choreography.
Performing arts at Park House English School are supported by a solid framework of recognised qualifications, accreditations and high-profile awards that give real weight to our students’ talents.

Qatar British Business Forum performances
Our choir regularly performs at the Qatar British Business Forum Christmas Lunch and Christmas Ball, representing the school in front of business and community leaders. These opportunities give children valuable real-world performance experience while helping raise the profile of Park House within the wider community.
Ukulele Festival at DESS
The Park House Ukulele Group performed at the first Ukulele Festival for Qatar schools, hosted by Doha English Speaking School (DESS). Playing alongside students from across Qatar, our musicians showcased their progress, confidence and enjoyment of ensemble music-making.
